4 months after forming our Chess Club in Freeport, Bahamas, we secured our first global partnership in Winston Salem, North Carolina with the Sister Cities Organization.

We toured Atkins High School, who’s Chess Team was ranked 3rd in the state of North Carolina, and also had a museum and great college tour with Winston-Salem State University. Go Rams!

They say girls are not as good as boys. Well our “Queen of Chess” was the only girl in her division at our chess tournament with Atkins High School. She went undefeated, being crowned the top girl player of the tournament!
