ASAC is a Nonprofit organization committed to enriching the lives of youth with chess lessons beyond the board. We are dedicated to creating the next generation of problem solvers, critical thinkers and future leaders.
With a mantra of “it’s not a loss, it’s a lesson”, A Step Ahead Chess is committed to enriching the lives of youth with chess lessons that go beyond the board, proving there are no limits for our children.
To date, ASAC has exposed 1200 plus youth & their families to playing chess, traveled over 13,000 miles on chess exploration trips, had 90 plus youth compete in United States Chess Federation rated tournaments; exposing, encouraging and empowering youth, despite their financial limitations.
