Coach Kislay

Kaustubh is currently a senior at Burlington High School. He learned how to play chess in the 5th grade, competing in tournaments across the nation. He has won notable tournaments such as the U1800 Continental open, and the Massachusetts G60 U2200, and remains a competitor to this day.

During COVID he focused on coaching online, providing services to students locally and internationally. He is also an athlete, participating as a varsity wrestler and recreational MMA practitioner. In college, he plans to pursue Data Science, with a focus in AI policy. Kaustubh enjoys the strategic and competitive aspects of chess, in combination with the empathetic aspects of teaching to help spread chess throughout the globe.
