Coach Bennett

 Bennett Drake, born and raised in Chicago, Illinois is currently a senior at the prestigious Walter Payton College Preparatory High School. Along with his love for the game of chess, Bennett enjoys teaching and learning about all things STEM related and is planning on pursuing a degree in computer engineering beginning next year.

Coach Bennett currently works with our intermediate chess students as a Virtual Chess Coach and hopes to grow their knowledge and love of the game of chess as well as create lasting bonds and friendships between the students.

Bennett is excited to attend the University of Michigan, where he will be majoring in Engineering!
