The A Step Ahead Chess Family is thrilled to announce Danero Rollon as our June 2022 Student of the Month. Chess has become Danero’s most eagerly awaited after school activity, he does not want to miss a session. I am pleased with his dedication to the game, because chess fosters traits like perseverance, learning from mistakes, critical thinking and planning strategies all skills that will benefit him throughout life while learning a game he truly enjoys.

With this, the A Step Ahead Chess themed is has watched Danero actively cultivate his skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and decision making.

Danero excels academically in school, making the honor roll with a cumulative GPA of 3.98.
