This past summer, our sponsors helped support young chess players who traveled to the Bay Area for 2019’s A Step Ahead Chess Trip. In the Bay, stormers not only played in an amazing chess tournament, as Bay Area Chess was named the 2018 Chess Club of the year by the United States Chess Federation, but also took on the city in exploration.
